Abstract

Lacanian teaching is traversed by an effort to create strategies so that the analyst’s formation does not suffocate within echo chambers. This challenge seems to intensify in the era of algo(z)rhythm, in which mechanisms of linguistic closure, with their self-ritualized bubbles, become even more perverse and affect our ways of making bonds and producing knowledge. Against the push toward the technification of experience through “content production,” a response via the “production of a form,” singular and ethical in the bond, may still be the most powerful old novelty. If analyses have their ends, but formation remains, how can it be organized so as to recreate conditions in which we continue to be traversed by experience rather than becoming its masters? How can an analyst, from the imperative of the prescribed, make the written emerge in its function as a kind of means of transport through which a living language gives a mobile knowledge the chance to travel? To address these questions, this work advances by wagering on how knowledges of oraliture, such as repentista poetics, can teach about an ethical position of openness to the Real of language that matters to analytic formation. From executioner rhythm to the sharpened rhythm of repentista poetics, from repeating to improvising, these passages unfold in an attempt to show how a formation organized around the exercise of sensibility may open greater chances of breaking with the claustrophobic ruses of the algorithmization of knowledge in our time.
