Abstract

The present paper discusses politics in psychoanalysis considering, initially, the is- sue from the perspective of the psychoanalyst's policy, which is on the side of inter- pretation. The author states that this policy also refers to the city, civilization and culture. The limits found by the regain of the Freudian field are approached, mainly through the incidences of neoliberalism in the field of care practices, representa- tions of the therapeutic, well-being and in the cultural field. Finally, it highlights the importance of the analytical discourse both in its practice and in its transmission.
