Encierro

Abstract

Encierro is a polyphonic word that holds a polysemic game: from naming the first part of the annual Spanish bullfights, to tying together diverse temporal processes, such as closing and finalizing, as well as spatial ones - incarcerate, isolate and intern, for example. Beyond the apocalyptic experience that has taken over our cities, especially in Brazil, we find in the testimonies of some analysts an original way of translation, one that evokes what we could call “the internment of himself”. In other words, the opportunity of a turning point from which, in the passage to the act of analyst, the until then analyzing finds in the misunderstanding of transference a tactic that makes him jump to life in another way. The present article unfolds the first part of the temporality of this signature, the end of a cure, namely: the instant of authorizing of himself or what we can deduce by entry as subject into the real.
