Clinic of psychosis in a custody and psychiatric treatment hospital
on the transfer and the three registers

After contextualizing the joint project between the Fórum do Campo Lacaniano/São Paulo and a custody and psychiatric treatment hospital, a clinical discussion is brought, regarding a subject with psychotic structure. The purpose of this transmission is to point out certain important clinical impasses and possibilities regarding psychosis. The way in which these aspects are transmitted is through considerations about the transference and the symbolic, imaginary and real registers, from which we elaborate some questions. We discuss the analyst’s presence as an imaginary aspect of transference, the inversion of transference specific to cases of psychosis, the possibility of authorship of songs as a work with the real register, and the work with delirium as a symbolic aspect of the transference.
